As with all bride and grooms to be we wanted to get the best for our big day and a big part of this was to find the right suppliers. After hours of trawling the internet and viewing some very good but also some very average wedding photographer portfolios we were excited to find GASP Photography.
We loved their portfolio and I'm sure anyone would agree that it speaks for itself. When we looked through it we thought that the style was a good fit with our wedding. We wanted a creative and contemporary style that was dynamic and relaxed with lots of personality, not staged and forced. As soon as we met with Jade from GASP we knew instantly that we were on the same page. She was incredibly enthusiastic and had plenty of ideas based on the look and feel of our venue - and from meeting us. We felt in very safe hands and began to feel even more excited about our big day.
Before the big day we did a pre-shoot which was a great comfort for me as I have always been camera shy and never liked looking at pics of myself - which is obviously a big concern when you're about to get married and have cameras pointing at you all day! Jade instantly put us at ease and had us doing lots of fun poses and we got some great pics as a result. Afterwards we felt even more excited and knew we'd made the right choice, 100%.
On the day, Jade arrived in very good time. I can honestly say that I felt like she was a major part of the day in both her professional capacity and for her lovely demeanor. All our guests commented on how wonderful she was. It occurred to me afterwards how important it is to have a photographer that you get on with because you spend so much of the most important day of your life with them, and when Jade finally left that day I felt so sad to see her go. She was so professional and added so much value to our day through her creativity and vision.
When we got our pics back we made a night of it with a bottle of champers to celebrate. I literally cried as we looked through them and we were absolutely blown away. She completely captured the essence of our day, and more. They were creative, beautiful, full of personality and told the story of our day perfectly. To say she has done us proud is an understatement and words can't describe how pleased we are with them. We feel so privileged to have found GASP and can honestly say that they were the perfect choice. Thank you so, so much to GASP and you've created the most beautiful memories from our pics that we will treasure forever.
